Planeetta is a nature-oriented daycare where children learn a positive attitude toward nature and a sustainable way of life. At our daycare, children spend plenty of time outdoors, regardless of the weather. Our activities emphasize exploring and wondering about natural phenomena, regular excursions, and moving in nature. Creativity, recycling, and using nature’s own resources in learning and as play materials are an essential part of everyday life in a nature daycare.

Our daycare has its own sheltered yard, and the surrounding area offers wonderful outdoor environments. We actively explore the nearby forests and parks, expanding the child’s learning environment. The local area provides diverse opportunities to study nature’s cycles and the changing seasons.

For us, it is important that children at our nature daycare learn to explore, experiment, and experience success—without forgetting to play. Activities are tailored to the child’s age, interests, and safe ways of doing things. Curiosity and exploration together with the child are at the heart of our approach. Our program naturally also includes a variety of other activities, such as singing sessions, theater performances, craft and painting sessions, and quiet time for rest.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
