In the after-school club, the child participates in a variety of activities in a safe and stimulating environment
Kartanonkoski after-school club offers a wide variety of guided activities, with children also involved in planning them. We emphasize the importance of outdoor time and physical activity as a balance to the time children spend indoors during the school day.
The environment at Kartanonkoski after-school club supports diverse physical activities and play. We have access to the school’s large yard with climbing frames, the adjacent sports park, the floorball rink, and the football field—places where children have plenty of space and opportunities to play and be active.
Children at the club can also enjoy crafts, physical activities, and free play. We use classroom spaces for doing homework, crafting, and playing. Snacks are served in the school cafeteria.
