In the after-school club, the child participates in a variety of activities in a safe and stimulating environment.

Simonkallio after-school club has been operating in the facilities of Simonkallio School since 2019. At Simppari after-school club, child-centeredness is emphasized in daily activities, allowing children to participate in planning and carrying out the activities. Based on the children’s wishes, the club has organized various excursions, hobby groups, and much more.

Simonkallio offers a versatile environment for many different activities, and the club spends time outdoors daily, making use of the schoolyard and surrounding areas. Nearby are playgrounds, forest areas, and a large sports field.

Every week, the club organizes guided activities, promotes diverse physical exercise, and practices various crafts, such as arts and crafts. Additionally, children have the opportunity for free play every day.
