Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Pilke Nature Daycare Viljami is located in Metsokangas, Oulu, close to nature. Viljami offers excellent opportunities for excursions in many directions: into the forest, local playgrounds, sledding hills, and ski tracks. Our area provides diverse possibilities for exploring the cycles of nature and the changing seasons.

Viljami is a nature-focused daycare where children learn a positive attitude toward the environment and sustainable living. Our children spend plenty of time outdoors, regardless of the weather. Activities emphasize exploring and marveling at natural phenomena, regular excursions, and movement in nature.
The forest is a wonderful playground for children, offering almost unlimited opportunities for play, movement, and creativity. Experiences in nature during childhood and youth have a lasting impact throughout life. Nature provides a rich and inspiring environment for children’s physical activity and learning.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
8–8.30
Breakfast
8.30–11
Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
