Pilke Auringonnousu is a small, homelike daycare centre for 33 children in Harittu, Turku
Pilke Auringonnousu started its operation on 1 August 2015. The daycare centre is located by excellent transport connections in the Turku district of Harittu, right next to Kaarina. The unit is surrounded by a peaceful residential area and a forest that lines the daycare centre yard.
Auringonnousu is a small daycare centre for 33 children, and we emphasise small group activities, attending to each child individually. Our diverse activities comprise play, exercise, handicraft and music. We provide the children with personalised support to encourage them to develop self-initiative and to participate in the group as active individuals.
We engage in close education partnership with families to ensure that the children’s days at the daycare centre are safe and pleasant. At Auringonnousu, the children can experience the joy of play in our cosy premises that enable small group operation and versatile activities.
