The customer fee for the daycare is influenced by the private daycare subsidy granted by Kela, which is child-specific. The subsidy consists of a general care allowance, which is paid to everyone, along with an additional Espoo supplement, as well as a care supplement based on the family’s income, and the related Espoo supplement. The subsidy is typically applied for from Kela.

After receiving the subsidies, our customer fee is at most €420 per month.

Additionally, the family may be eligible for a sibling supplement or an income-based care supplement from the city, and five-year-olds are part of the pilot program for free early childhood education.

Daisy Family

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.

Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Murut is a home-like daycare in Haukilahden, where children receive the best foundation for their future school journey and life. Quality early childhood education, rich and diverse activities, outdoor play, and excursions are important to us. Our daycare is something close to the heart for our staff.

We operate in the Ahti Business Park, in newly renovated facilities specifically designed for daycare, which were completed in 2019. Murut has two child groups: the Kullanmurut for children under 3 years old, and the Kultakimpaleet for 3-5-year-olds.

Outdoor activities and nature education are an important part of the Murut Daycare’s daily routine.

The values of Murut Daycare are closely tied to healthy and eco-friendly lifestyles, and these values are implemented daily with the children. We go outdoors twice a day, taking into account the children’s ages and abilities. The main outdoor time of the day takes place in nearby parks, which we reach using electrically assisted bicycles and Muksubuses. The children also enjoy outdoor activities at a local sports field, as well as in forest and park areas, combining the wonders of nature with the goals of early childhood education.

Another important aspect for us is food education, as well as delicious and nutritious meals. The children at Murut get to enjoy meals prepared in our own kitchen.

We use the Kindiedays app for communication with families.

We understand that balancing work and family life can often be really challenging. To help make daily logistics, reminders, and the hustle and bustle easier, we use the Kindiedays app at Murut. This allows families to be a part of their child’s early childhood education, stay in touch with the daycare, and participate in important moments of their child’s day. The app includes features such as real-time attendance tracking, invitations to daycare events (with the option to link them to your own calendar), documentation of children’s daily activities and learning through photos and text (pedagogical documentation), management of the child’s information, and more. The app also helps us validate the quality of early childhood education and track progress towards educational goals. This service is free of charge for our families.
