Family Cafés at Pilke Daycare Centers
Our Pilke Family Cafés are open for everyone, and free to join in. Family Café is a meeting place for children of all ages and their parents. It’s a great way to connect with other families in your neighborhood and meet parents of babies and young children.
For adults, the cafés offer a welcoming space to chat over coffee, while children enjoy playtime with others their age. We also regularly organize fun activities in the daycare facilities, such as arts and crafts, baby music sessions, and light exercise.
Family cafés are held at your local Pilke daycare center, usually on a set weekday morning every other week during the autumn and spring seasons. You’ll find detailed schedules and dates on the Pilke daycare’s website and event calendar.
No registration is needed—just drop in whenever it suits your schedule. We offer coffee, tea, and juice, and there’s also a microwave available if you’d like to warm up your own food.

Pilke’s family cafés (or baby cafés) are open to all children, no matter their age, and their parents, guardians, or other close family members. You’re warmly welcome to join us, even with a baby.
Family cafés are free and open meeting places held at your local Pilke daycare center near you. You can join in whenever it works for your schedule, there's no registration needed.
At the Pilke daycare centre's family café, you’ll meet other families with young children (aged 0 to 7 years old) from your local area. It’s a relaxed space where adults can enjoy coffee and conversation, while children play in daycare-friendly spaces designed just for them.
We also regularly organize guided activities at the cafés, giving you a chance to explore the kindergarten environment and learn more about what goes on there.

Absolutely! All families are warmly welcome to join the family cafés at Pilke daycare centers.
Many of our café visitors are families whose children attend daycare part-time or are simply enjoying a day off. The family café is a great way to build a sense of community among local families and those already part of Pilke.
It’s also a lovely space to share thoughts and experiences: especially around starting daycare and settling in.
