Daisy Family

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.

Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Murut Solstugan is a small and cozy bilingual daycare with around thirty children, located in the center of Kirkkonummi. It is important to us that children grow in a peaceful and safe learning environment.

Murut Solstugan Functions Like a Large Bilingual Family

A multilingual and multicultural environment is a true asset. At Murut Solstugan, children receive education in their native language, either Finnish or Swedish. In addition, they learn the other language through daily activities such as songs and play. A bilingual daycare fosters confidence, expands vocabulary, and promotes a natural, positive attitude toward diversity.

We use the Kindiedays app for communication with families.

We understand that balancing work and family life can often be really challenging. To help make daily logistics, reminders, and the hustle and bustle easier, we use the Kindiedays app at Murut. This allows families to be a part of their child’s early childhood education, stay in touch with the daycare, and participate in important moments of their child’s day. The app includes features such as real-time attendance tracking, invitations to daycare events (with the option to link them to your own calendar), documentation of children’s daily activities and learning through photos and text (pedagogical documentation), management of the child’s information, and more. The app also helps us validate the quality of early childhood education and track progress towards educational goals. This service is free of charge for our families.

The daycare centre schedule is always designed based on its size and objectives. This routine is a general example of a day at daycare. The daycare centre manager provides further information on the routine of your daycare centre.
