The client fee is at its highest 341 €/month with the Espoo service voucher. The fee is affected by the value of the service voucher and the agreed treatment time. The daycare centre is participating in the City of Espoo‘s trial of 20 hours of free early childhood education for 5–year–old children per week. Ask the daycare centre manager for more information.
Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

We will open a nature daycare centre in Lystimäki, Espoo in August 2023
Nature daycare centre Unikko will open in Lystimäki, Espoo, in August 2023. Unikko offers versatile early childhood education and care in a functional daycare centre with 44 beds.
Outdoor activities in any weather
Unikko is a nature–oriented daycare centre where children learn a positive attitude towards nature and a sustainable lifestyle. The daycare centre enjoys a lot of outdoor activities regardless of the weather. The activities emphasise exploring and wondering about various natural phenomena, regular hiking and walking in nature. Ingenuity, recycling and utilising nature‘s own gifts in learning and as play equipment are an important part of the daycare centre‘s everyday life.
Diverse activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan
Naturally, our activities also include other versatile activities, such as singing, theatre performances, handicraft and painting sessions, not forgetting moments of rest. Everyday pedagogy is present in every moment of the daycare centre. It is stopping together and wondering about things; counting peas from the salad and playing with colors while painting. We appreciate every unhurried moment we get to spend talking, playing and chatting; exploring the world together.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
