The client fee is between 0 and 311 euros per month, which is the same as in municipal early childhood education.
The client fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.

Families residing in nearby municipalities may also apply for a daycare place at Kurki if their municipality is part of the service voucher system.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
Nature Education in an Ecological Log-Built Daycare
Pilke Nature Daycare Kurki opened its doors in August 2017 in a beautiful log building on Urpontie in Aura. Our daycare provides high-quality, child-centered early childhood education for children aged 0–6 years. In our nature-oriented daycare, children learn to develop a positive attitude toward nature and a sustainable way of life.
Outdoor Adventures and Exploring Nature in All Weather
At Pilke Kurki, we enjoy nature with all our senses. In our nearby natural area “Metsälä,” located by the Aura River, children listen to the rush of the rapids and the chirping of birds. We also explore nature trails and marvel at the diversity of the natural world.
The children take care of the daycare’s garden from spring to autumn, and their hard work culminates in a harvest celebration where they enjoy colorful treats they have grown themselves. Through daily outdoor play and exploration, children learn to respect nature — with joy and wonder.

Close Cooperation with Parents
The daycare has an active parent committee that helps build a strong sense of community. The committee’s goal is to create memorable experiences for children and their families. Together with the daycare staff, the committee plans and organizes various events and raises additional funds to support shared activities.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
