Pilke Daycare Kilonkallio: Nestled in Nature
Pilke Daycare Kilonkallio is located in the peaceful residential area of Kilonkallio, surrounded by nature. We provide high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and preschool for children aged 0–6.
Our spacious, sheltered yard and nearby forest offer plenty of safe space for children to explore and adventure. Kilo train station and the services of Leppävaara are just a short distance away. The surrounding area also includes Leppävaara Library, the Sports Park, Angry Birds Park, and a local horse stable.
Getting Familiar with English
At our daycare, we offer language-enriched early childhood education in English, practicing familiar songs, rhymes, and concepts together with children through singing and exploration in English.
Language-enriched early childhood education is a lighter version of bilingual education. Its goals are to support language learning, motivate children, and broaden their language experiences. It can also serve as a stepping stone toward language-enriched programs, language immersion, or other bilingual preschool and primary education options.
In our international daycare, children from different nationalities and cultures come together seamlessly. They learn about multiculturalism, tolerance, and equality in a joyful and warm environment.

Diversified activities in line with the early childhood education and care plan
The pedagogy of everyday life is present in every moment of the nursery. It is about stopping together and wondering about things; counting peas in the salad and playing with colours while painting. We cherish every unhurried moment we get to spend talking, playing and goofing off; exploring the world together.
