Pilke DaisyFamily

Sympathetic nature daycare centre Kaisla in Leppävaara

Pilke Kaisla is a small, cozy nature daycare in Leppävaara, Espoo, conveniently located with excellent transport connections. We provide a warm, active, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5, where every child is seen and supported as an individual.

As a small daycare, our daily life is calm, safe, and community-oriented. Children have the opportunity to grow at their own pace in an unhurried, secure atmosphere where they can truly be themselves.

Nature as Part of Every Day

At Kaisla, nature is at the heart of everyday life. Our daycare is located on the edge of a forest, and our spacious outdoor yard offers plenty of room for play, exploration, and physical activity.

We take weekly trips to nearby forests and parks, where children have opportunities to:

  • explore natural phenomena and experience the changing seasons
  • move, play, and discover in the forest
  • use their imagination with natural materials
  • develop an appreciation for nature and sustainable living

Nature provides endless opportunities for curiosity, discovery, and learning together.

Learning Through Play

We value uninterrupted, meaningful play as one of the most important ways children learn and develop. Children’s own ideas inspire our activities, and their voices are genuinely heard.

Through play, children naturally develop their thinking skills, social interaction, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in an engaging and enjoyable way.
