Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Daycare Murut Matinkylä, located in Matinkylä, Espoo, is a true gem; a small and homey daycare that offers children high-quality early childhood education and provides families with a comprehensive customer experience.
The daycare is calm, warm, and cheerful. It is conveniently located with excellent transport connections, just a few hundred meters from Iso Omena shopping center and the metro station, yet tucked away in the peaceful courtyard of an apartment building. The daycare’s spaces are spacious and homely, with its own a fenced yard. The surrounding area offers many parks and excursion destinations, which are frequently used.
Versatile activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan
In implementing early childhood education, we consider it important that children’s play, discovery, and participation happen through warm interactions with educators. A day at the daycare includes a variety of activities in the daycare’s indoor spaces, outdoors, and on excursions, all in line with the early childhood education plan.

English-Language Music Playgroup Once a Week
The daycare offers an English-language music playgroup (muskari) on Wednesdays for an additional fee. The sessions make use of music therapy methods and aim to support the child’s overall development — especially emotional and social interaction skills.
In the group, children also get to explore musical instruments and the basics of music, just like in a traditional muskari. The activities include singing, playing instruments, games, and movement — bringing joy, a sense of achievement, and moments of togetherness.

We use the Kindiedays app for communication with families.
The Kindeydays app includes features such as real-time attendance tracking, invitations to daycare events (with the option to link them to your own calendar), documentation of children’s daily activities and learning through photos and text (pedagogical documentation), management of the child’s information, and more. The app also helps us validate the quality of early childhood education and track progress towards educational goals. This service is free of charge for our families.
