Pilke sports-oriented daycare centre Pupuna

Pilke’s sports-oriented daycare centre Pupuna is located in Laajalahti by good transport connections close to Ring I (Kehä I). Shopping centre Sello is within a walking distance of the daycare centre, and we use Sello’s cultural services regularly. In addition, the cultural services offered in the district of Tapiola are easily accessible by public transport. Our close environment offers an excellent natural environment for nature trips and other outdoor activities.

Pilke Pupuna is a sports-oriented daycare centre, whose objective is to help children find the joy of exercise and adopt a sporty lifestyle. At the daycare centre, whose capacity is 50 children, all adults and children know one another, and siblings spend time close to each other. We regularly organise events for all of the daycare centre’s children and adults. For us, allowing each child to express themselves is a priority. We support their growth and development together with the parents.

Our operation is goal-oriented and versatile, and we take account of each child’s stage of development. We find it important to provide the children with a wide variety of experiences, to allow them to familiarise with the nearby environment and to teach them to consider others. At Pupuna, everyone is allowed to be a bit silly as we don’t take life too seriously!
