Pilke daycare centre Taikapuisto has been operating in Haapavesi since 2010 and is located on Urheilutie, right next to the Mäkirinte school centre. Taikapuisto offers high-quality and versatile early childhood education for children aged 1-6 years in a warm and cosy daycare centre. Diverse natural environments with hiking opportunities are close to us. A sports hall, skating rink, sports field and library are right next to the daycare.
Outdoors in all weathers
Taikapuisto is a nature-oriented daycare where children learn a positive attitude towards nature and a sustainable lifestyle. The daycare offers plenty of outdoor activities, whatever the weather. The activities focus on exploring and wondering about different natural phenomena, regular hiking and nature walks. Inventiveness, recycling and using nature’s own resources for learning and play are an important part of the day-care centre’s daily life.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
