Pilke Sports Daycare Jukola is located in Hämeenlinna, in the Jukola area near Hattelmalanharju, with good transport connections. The daycare’s spacious and bright facilities are designed to inspire children to move, providing plenty of space to run and play. The daycare offers high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and pre-primary education for children aged 0–6.
Diverse joy of movement
The goal of the daycare is to help children discover the joy of movement and an active lifestyle. The focus on movement is incorporated into daily routines through activities like excursions, daily outdoor play, weekly physical music sessions, and guided physical activities. We also try out a variety of sports, such as cycling, floorball, and ice skating.
Versatile activities in accordance with the early childhood education plan
The daycare also includes other diverse activities, such as singing sessions, theater performances, arts and crafts, and painting moments, not forgetting rest times. Pedagogical practices are present in every moment at the daycare. It’s about pausing together and marveling at the world; counting peas in a salad and playing with colors while painting. We cherish every unhurried moment spent discussing, playing, and being silly, exploring the world together.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
