Sports-oriented daycare centre in Mannisenmäki
Daycare centre Pilke Mannisenmäki opened in the Jyväskylä district of Mannisenmäki in January 2018. The new, spacious facilities house five child groups. We provide high-quality child-centred early childhood and pre-primary education for children aged 0–6 years.
Childhood is an adventure
Adventurousness is one of our daycare centre’s key motivators. All of our activities are marked by an adventurous attitude: we organise music, sports and forest adventures. Our activities often begin by receiving an exciting message in a bottle that sparks the imagination of our little crew members.
Trips and theme days
Child-centredness is an important part of our activities. Every week, we select the Adventurer of the Week who has the opportunity to plan the week’s programme and activities with our educators. In addition, we make weekly trips to the parks and forests in the daycare centre’s vicinity and organise adventurous theme days.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
