Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

The ICEC daycare centers follows both the Finnish national early childhood education plan and the English EYFS curricula. The daycare center’s activities emphasize children’s creativity, play, multiculturalism, and inclusive learning.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
8–8.30
Breakfast
8.30–11
Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.

Their excitement was contagious as they proudly showed off all the best spots to climb, swing, and slide 🛝.
Watching them guide, cheer on, and help the younger ones was a beautiful reminder of how these moments teach responsibility and kindness 😊 ❤️. We are so proud of how they stepped up as little role models!

Yesterday, our ICEC Kauniainen community came together to celebrate not only the dads, uncles, and grandads but also the rest of the family. At our coffee morning, everyone enjoyed a relaxed morning, sharing coffee, laughter, and activities with the little ones. ☕️
It was heartwarming to see everyone getting involved - families connecting, children proudly showing off their crafts, and everyone making new memories. At the end of the morning, each of our dads and family members left with a small gift, a little reminder of how much they`re appreciated every day. 🎁 ❤️
A huge thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make this day special! It`s times like these that remind us how lucky we are to be part of such a strong and supportive community.
