Music-oriented daycare centre Pilke Tempo opened in a new building in Kiuruvesi in August 2019
Pilke’s music-oriented daycare centre Tempo opened in a new building in Kiuruvesi in August 2019. Tempo offers daycare places for children aged 0–5 years. Pilke Tempo provides high-quality child-centred early childhood education and care at a warm-spirited daycare centre.
The music-oriented daycare centre’s objective is to provide the children with musical experiences, capacities and skills as well as experiences of learning and success. We also encourage the children to start longer-term musical hobbies. The music-oriented education is implemented in the daycare centre’s everyday operation through singing, playing instruments, listening to music, reading rhymes, improvising, exercising and dancing, for example. In addition, we naturally reserve time for other versatile activities, such as drama, handicraft and painting, not to forget sufficient daily rest. Everyday pedagogy is also part of every moment of our operation.
