Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.

Pilke Nature Daycare Tempo in Kiuruvesi
Daycare Tempo opened in August 2019 in a newly built facility on Paavo Tikkanen Road. Tempo provides high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and preschool in modern, healthy premises with excellent indoor air quality for children aged 0–6 years. The daycare also participates in the two-year preschool trial, about which you can ask the daycare director for more details.
Outdoor play in all weather
Tempo is a nature-oriented daycare, where children are encouraged to develop a positive attitude toward nature and a sustainable lifestyle. Outdoor activities are an essential part of our daily life, regardless of the weather. Our program emphasizes exploring and wondering about natural phenomena, regular excursions, and active play in nature.
The forest is an excellent playground for children, offering endless ideas and opportunities for play, movement, and creativity. Experiences in nature during childhood and youth have a lasting impact throughout life. Nature provides a diverse and inspiring environment for children’s physical activity and learning.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
