Pilke Taikapursi provides early childhood education and care for children aged 1–5 in a welcoming, homelike daycare centre in Etu-Löytty, Oulu. We have daycare places for 24 children.

Taikapursi is a Green Flag daycare centre, and we apply an environmental programme. Everyday pedagogy is part of every moment of our operation. It is present in pausing to wonder things together; counting peas in the salad bowl or experimenting with colours when painting. We value each unhurried moment we get to spend conversating, playing or just being silly while exploring the world together.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
