Pilke Nature Daycare Hokaus is located in Vuores, Tampere

Pilke nature-oriented daycare opened its doors on 1 August 2016 in Vuores, Tampere. This nature-oriented daycare fits naturally into Tampere’s new and modern district, where closeness to nature, high-quality architecture, ecological thinking, the latest technological solutions, and small-town-style services all come together.

Outdoor activities in all kinds of weather

Hokaus is a nature-oriented daycare where children develop a positive attitude towards nature and a sustainable lifestyle. The children spend plenty of time outdoors, regardless of the weather. Activities emphasize exploring and wondering about various natural phenomena, regular excursions, and moving around in nature. Creativity, recycling, and making use of nature’s own resources in learning and as play materials are an important part of everyday life at the nature daycare.

Educators are present and approachable

At Hokaus, early childhood educators are present and close to both the children and their parents. It is important to us that children feel seen and heard in their play and moments of learning. The play areas are designed to encourage and inspire children to explore and experiment. The daycare’s spacious yard allows for a wide variety of play activities. The yard also includes its own small patch of forest, offering plenty of interesting things to discover and delightful places to play.

Our customers have rated us
