Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
A Small and Homely Daycare in Vienola
Daycare Vienola offers high-quality, child-centered early childhood education in a small and warm-hearted environment with only 40 places for children aged 0–6 years.
At our daycare, we use a project-based approach where activities are planned and evaluated together with the children and their parents. This approach is built on children’s strengths, discoveries, and interests. It provides a diverse and engaging way to support each child’s participation and development — all while leaving plenty of room for free play.
The daycare is surrounded by nature, and we go on forest trips every week. We also organize Metsämörri nature activities, where the Metsämörri character helps children explore and appreciate the natural world.
Close Cooperation with Parents
Our daycare has an active parent committee that fosters a sense of community. The committee’s goal is to create meaningful experiences for both children and families. Together with the daycare staff, they plan and organize events and raise additional funds for shared activities.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
