Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
Small and Cozy Sports-Oriented Daycare in Nummela
Liikuntapäiväkoti Linnanniittu began operating in Nummela in August 2015. The daycare’s spacious and bright facilities inspire children to move and play, offering plenty of room to run around and be active. The daycare provides high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and preschool teaching for children aged 0–6 years.
Our daycare is home-like and safe, offering every child the opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace. All children and adults know each other, and we plan activities that are tailored to different skill levels. In our small daycare, starting the daycare journey is easy and comfortable with familiar, caring adults.
Joy of Movement in Many Forms
Our goal is to help children discover the joy of movement and an active lifestyle. The sports-oriented approach is part of everyday life at the daycare through activities such as excursions, daily outdoor play, weekly musical movement sessions, and guided exercise times. We also try a variety of sports, including swimming, beginner’s wrestling, and cycling.
Our daycare has its own large play yard and grassy field where we can play and exercise with the children. The fenced yard is safe and equipped with a wide range of play and sports equipment. On the paved area, children can ride pedal cars and bikes on a painted track.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
