Music-oriented daycare centre Metsätuuli

Daily life at music-oriented day care centre Pilke Metsätuuli is filled with versatile activities and pleasant time together. We express the musical learning orientation through our love for music, and we sing, play instruments, dance and improvise in a joyful atmosphere every day.

Our weekly rhythm is paced by music and singing games. We also make trips to nearby forests and take walks in our close surroundings. Every now and then, we sing and play natural instruments on our trips. At Metsätuuli, every child is the super star of their life, just the way they are.

Small group and pre-school activities

Metsätuuli’s children participate in small group activities, including singing, play and practise of manual skills suitable for their age. Our musical activities involve the use of both real and bodily instruments that familiarise the children with their anatomy and develop body control. Rhythms and rhymes develop the children’s vocabulary through pleasant and inspiring activities.

Our pre-schoolers are busy with a wide variety of activities, such as storytelling, making music, handicraft and pre-primary education assignments. We provide pre-primary education from Monday to Thursday from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm. On Fridays, pre-primary education ends at 12 o’clock.
