Pilke Music Daycare Metsätuuli – The Joy of Music and Nature

Pilke Music Daycare Metsätuuli provides a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for children aged 0–6, where play, learning, and shared experiences go hand in hand. We also offer preschool education.

At Metsätuuli, every child is valued as a unique individual and encouraged to be themselves.

Music, Play, and Discovery Every Day

Music is a natural part of everyday life at Metsätuuli. We sing, play instruments, dance, and explore through play together. Children enjoy improvising, creating their own rhythms, and expressing themselves in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere.

Through music, children build confidence, develop self-expression, and strengthen their communication skills. At the same time, they naturally enhance their creativity and ability to concentrate through playful learning experiences.

Nature as Part of Everyday Life

We spend plenty of time outdoors and regularly explore the surrounding natural environment. Forest excursions combine movement, exploration, and the joy of music—and sometimes our songs and musical instruments accompany us into nature.

The natural world provides children with space to discover, move freely, and enjoy moments of peace and reflection.

Small Groups that Support Learning

Children spend much of their day in small groups, ensuring that every child is seen, heard, and supported as an individual.

In these small-group activities, children:

  • Sing, play, and learn together
  • Develop creativity and fine motor skills through arts and crafts
  • Explore rhythm, rhyming, and language in enjoyable, age-appropriate ways that naturally enrich vocabulary and early literacy skills
