Our full-time early childhood education fee is €84.15–€410 / month starting from August 1, 2025.


The daycare fee is affected by the private daycare allowance granted by Kela. The customer fee may be reduced by an income-related care supplement—check Kela’s updated income limits here.

To use Kela’s calculator, please ask the daycare director for the total monthly fee and other relevant information.

Sibling discount: €150.

Our daycare offers 4 hours of free early childhood education per day for 5-year-olds. In addition, the City of Helsinki supports families with 5-year-olds with €160 per month. Please contact the daycare director for more information.

Pilke Playschool Taikavuori is an English kindergarten with 33 places for children aged from 10 months up to 6 years in Kallio, Helsinki. Early childhood education is carried out in English, so here children are able to learn and maintain their English language skills.

At Playschool Taikavuori children are exploring, wondering, having fun and learning in a linguistically and culturally diverse environment. Our central location in Kallio, Helsinki, offers opportunities to explore the nearby surroundings. Trips to parks, library, museums and other cultural destinations are an important part of our early childhood education.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
