The customer fee ranges from 40 to 351 euros per month.
The customer fee is determined by the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.
The daycare is participating in the City of Espoo’s trial for free early childhood education for 5-year-old children, offering 20 free hours per week. Please ask the daycare manager for more information.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
Playschool Espoonlahti Language Daycare at Lippulaiva
Pilke Playschool Espoonlahti, located in Espoonlahti, is a warm and welcoming bilingual kindergarten. In addition to English-speaking groups, we also offer Finnish-speaking groups and pre-primary education.
We implement the Finnish early childhood education curriculum both in English and in Finnish.
Centrally located
Pilke Playschool Espoonlahti is a newly opened daycare (August 2022) in the heart of Espoonlahti. We are located on the 3rd floor of the Lippulaiva shopping center, with excellent transport connections. Our facilities are new and spacious, and we also have our own fenced yard.
Finnish-speaking groups with English language enrichment
We also have Finnish-speaking groups, where children gradually get familiar with English a couple of times per week. By this language-enriched early childhood education, children practice familiar songs, rhymes, and concepts together, singing and thinking in English, while Finnish is also used in everyday routines.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
