GroupsThe daycare client fee is affected by the private childcare allowance granted by Kela. The fee may be reduced by an income-based care supplement; check Kela’s new income limits here. After applying the allowances you receive, our client fee is between €0 and €325 per month.

Sibling discount: €150. Our daycare offers 4 hours of free early childhood education for 5-year-olds, and in addition, the City of Helsinki supports families with 5-year-olds with €60 per month. For more information, please contact the daycare Manager.

Pilke Music Daycare Taikakuu is located in Kivikko, Helsinki, with excellent transport connections, right next to Ring Road I. Taikakuu offers high-quality, child-centred early childhood education and pre-primary education in a small and cozy daycare setting for children aged 0–6.

Taikakuu is a music-focused daycare. The building blocks of our music education include songs, singing games, rhymes, playing instruments, physical movement, and listening to music. The goal of our music-oriented daycare is to provide children with musical experiences, skills, and readiness. We also aim to inspire a lifelong interest and enjoyment in music as a hobby.

Our operations are based on educational partnership. Together with parents, we assess what is best for their child and commit to supporting the child's growth, development, and learning. At Pilke Taikakuu, we believe that a safe environment fosters a positive outlook on life, a strong self-image, and healthy self-esteem.
At Taikakuu, an early childhood education teacher works in a new type of teacher+ role. They strengthen the pedagogical practices of the entire daycare across all child groups and are responsible for the daycare’s pedagogical development tasks as a whole.
Fairytale Music Club on Thursdays
Taikakuu also hosts a Fairytale Music Club on Thursday mornings at 9:30, during daycare hours. In this magical session, children dive into the world of storytelling and explore the wonders of music. For more information, please contact the daycare director.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
