Pilke Taikakuu is a small, home-like daycare in Kivikko, Helsinki, surrounded by nature and excellent excursion destinations. We provide high-quality, child-centered early education and pre-primary activities for children aged 0–6.

Nature and the Local Area as Part of Learning

We actively explore nearby forests, parks, and the library, giving children opportunities to broaden their view of the world and learn new things. We also visit museums, where children can experience culture and history in interactive and engaging ways.

A Safe and Familiar Community

The Song of Taikakuu – Welcome to Pilke Taikakuu!

"There’s a gate and a slide, by the forest in Kivikko.
We play music, we sing along, and together we laugh so strong.
This feels like fun, as if we’ve always been friends.
Tai-Tai-Taikakuu, we swing high and slide down too.
Tai-Tai-Taikakuu, where we play cat and car games too.
This feels like fun, as if we’ve always been friends."

– A song created by the children and educators of Taikakuu
