Playschool Kids’ Valley – a small English-speaking daycare on the old Perttula farm

Playschool Kids’ Valley is an English-speaking daycare located in the main building of the historic Perttula farm on Hanneksenkatu in Hyvinkää. Kids’ Valley is a warm and homely daycare with 26 places for children. It continues the tradition of the English Kindergarten, which has been operating in Hyvinkää for 48 years. Kids’ Valley provides high-quality full-day early childhood education and pre-primary education for children under school age. Our mission is to offer a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment where every child is valued.

Inspiring children’s curiosity and love of language

Kids’ Valley offers extensive bilingual early childhood education, where both English and Finnish are naturally part of daily activities. Our goal is to take advantage of the sensitive period of early language learning by providing playful and interactive language experiences. We aim to inspire children’s curiosity and eagerness to experiment with language. Multiculturalism is also a natural part of our early education. Children are free to use their mother tongue, and no prior experience with English is required.

Close Collaboration with Parents

Parents do not need to speak English. Their main role is to support their child’s mother tongue while encouraging and motivating them to learn and use English. Family involvement plays an important role in our daycare’s daily life. Strong cooperation between parents and teachers creates the best conditions for successful early childhood education. At Kids’ Valley, we foster a caring and warm atmosphere where children can grow and thrive. Our professional staff is dedicated to supporting each child’s development.

Our daycare also has a qualified early childhood teacher in a new Ope+ role, who strengthens the pedagogical work across all groups and oversees the daycare’s educational development initiatives.
