The client fee is between €0 and €311 per month, which is the same as in municipal early childhood education.
The fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.

You will be contacted within 2 working days and we will agree on how to proceed.
If your home municipality is Kauniainen, please also apply for a service voucher through Kauniainen’s eVaka system.
Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Playschool Kauniainen (formerly ICEC Kauniainen) opened in August 2021 in a new log building at Kasavuorentie 6, 02700 Kauniainen.
Playschool Kauniainen is an English-language daycare where children have an excellent opportunity to learn and immerse themselves in the English language. We are happy and proud of our close-knit community, where educators, children, and families together create a warm and encouraging environment. Our educators work closely with families to ensure that every child feels valued.
A Finnish-speaking group will also start in the daycare in autumn 2025. Apply now!
Active outdoor adventures
We actively explore the outdoors so that children can broaden their worldview and learn new things. Every week, we embark on adventures to places such as the local swimming hall and nearby forests. In addition, we frequently visit various museums, giving children the chance to experience culture and history in an interactive way.
A close and warm community
We believe in the power of community and regularly organize evening events where families and children can join in the fun and strengthen their sense of belonging. These events offer an excellent opportunity to meet others, share experiences, and create unforgettable memories.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.

Today was all about energy, laughter, and teamwork as our Bunnies 🐰, Owls 🦉, and Squirrels 🐿 took part in the city of Kauniainen`s children`s sports event!
From hopping through obstacle courses, to racing down tracks 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️, and spinning hula hoops, our little athletes gave it all and had an amazing time doing it!
