The client fee is between €0 and €311 per month, which is the same as in municipal early childhood education.
The fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
We opened a new science-oriented daycare in Tupos in August 2022
Pilke science-oriented daycare Centre Loimu opened its doors in August 2022 in a brand new log building on Saunarannantie. Daycare Loimu offers high-quality, child-centred early childhood education in a warm and welcoming daycare centre.

Wonder and discovery
Loimu is a science-focused daycare, where the focus is on exploring and wondering together about phenomena that emerge from children’s ideas and interests. Depending on the age of the children, this could be looking at the shape of water, exploring the solar system, wondering about rainbows or building three-dimensional objects.
Science education for children under three is based on sensory stimulation, observation, wonder, questions, stories and fairy tales.

A research playground for little professors
The daycares courtyard, the surrounding area and various excursion sites also serve as good places for research. Through play and activities, children learn to discover, experiment and experience success.
Learn English
Our daycare also offers language-enriched early years education in English for children over 3 years old. In language-rich early childhood education, children can practise familiar songs, rhymes and concepts by singing and reflecting together in English. Language-rich activities make it easy for children to gradually learn a new language.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
