We opened a sports-oriented daycare center in the centre of Mikkeli in August 2023
Pilke Kieppi sports-oriented daycare center is located in brand new premises in the centre of Mikkeli. Kieppi daycare centre offers high-quality, child-centred early childhood education for children aged 0-6.
Getting to know different types of sport
Pilke Kieppi is a sports-oriented day-care centre, which aims to support children’s physical activity in everyday life, strengthen their interest in physical activity and a physical lifestyle, and teach them a healthy and safe attitude towards their body and their environment.
The emphasis on physical activity is reflected in Kiep’s everyday life through various activities: group meetings, gymnastics sessions and age- and development-appropriate introductions to different types of physical activity. It is important for us to create an everyday life for children where they are allowed to express all their emotions and feel safe every day. We are constantly working with children’s carers to develop ways to increase their sense of inclusion.
