The daycare fee is affected by the private day care allowance granted by Kela. After receiving the applicable support, the maximum client fee is €330 per month. The fee may be further reduced by an income-based care supplement—check Kela’s updated income limits here.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Pilke Poutapilvi is a cosy, pleasant private daycare centre in the Räätykänmäki residential area of Riihimäki. The forest right behind the daycare centre offers excellent opportunities for play, trips and nature exploration throughout the year.
Poutapilvi provides each child with meaningful activities, plenty of time for play and a safe lap to sit on. Our aim is to provide the children with good capacities for the future by strengthening their self-esteem, teaching tolerance and encouraging them to rely on their skills and ideas.
We favour small group activities which enable our educators to attend to each child individually and to take everyone’s interests into account. We value cooperation with the parents, and together we can provide the children with the best early learning!

Example of the daily routine at daycare

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.
8–8.30
Breakfast
8.30–11
Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
