The fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.
You can apply for a service voucher for a daycare centre on the website of the City of Rovaniemi. Also fill Pilke’s application for early childhood education and care.
Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Daycare Saarenkylä operates in modern daycare facilities completed in 2017, offering plenty of space for movement and play. The daycare is located in a pleasant and peaceful area of Saarenkylä, at the foot of scenic hills.
A Variety of Joyful Physical Activities
Pilke Saarenkylä is a movement-focused daycare that aims to support children’s physical activity in daily life, foster an interest in sports and an active lifestyle, and teach children a healthy and safe approach to their bodies and environment.
The daycare’s focus on movement is implemented through daily outdoor play, excursions, weekly music sessions with physical activities, and guided exercise sessions. Following our annual activity calendar, children are introduced to different forms of physical activity, such as athletics, ball games, and winter sports.
Saarenkylä offers many wonderful places for excursions and visits, including Sanun sports field, the library, a service home, playgrounds, and natural areas such as forests for berry picking, exploration, and geocaching.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
