Pilke Log Daycare Nuotti is located in the peaceful Taivallahti area of Siilinjärvi. Our modern log-built daycare provides children with a safe, cosy environment where they can grow, play, and learn.

Music is part of every day at Nuotti. It is woven into the activities of every group, from shared singing sessions to the small moments that make up daily life.
We sing, play instruments, recite rhymes, move to music, listen, and explore together. These shared musical experiences help children build confidence, express themselves, and discover the joy of learning.
Through music, children naturally develop their communication skills, creativity, and ability to concentrate—all through play.

Music Classes with the Kuopio Conservatory
Children at Music Daycare Nuotti have the opportunity to participate in weekly music classes provided by the Kuopio Conservatory every Tuesday morning.

At Pilke Music Daycare Nuotti, our educators played an active role in designing the learning environments for our new log-built daycare. The result is a welcoming, child-centred setting with inspiring spaces that encourage play, learning, self-expression, and meaningful interaction.
As a music-focused daycare, it was especially important to create an environment that sparks children's interest in music. Our musical learning spaces have been thoughtfully designed to give children easy access to a wide variety of musical instruments and resources, encouraging exploration, creativity, and joyful music-making every day.
We also wanted to ensure that children have quiet places to relax and unwind. That is why we included peaceful reading corners and other calming spaces where children can rest, recharge, or enjoy a quiet moment.

However, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible. This helps us to ensure your child gets a place at your chosen daycare center and is able to start at a time that suits your family.

At the daycare, breakfast, lunch, and a snack are offered. At Pilke daycares, we provide children with domestic, healthy, and tasty food that is diverse and easy to eat, designed specifically with children’s tastes and textures in mind.
Each of our daycares has a daycare assistant responsible for warming the food and serving other items according to the menu.
During holiday periods, there are fewer children in daycare, as many families are on vacation and children stay at home. For this reason, some of our daycare centers are closed while others remain open.
The open daycare centers operate as on-duty centers, providing care for all children from Pilke daycare centers in the area who need early childhood education.
These on-duty centers are staffed by Pilke’s own early childhood educators from various daycare centers in the same region.
We inform families well in advance about holiday opening hours and which Pilke daycare centers in the area will be open.
