Pilke Äppelbo Daghem is a Swedish-speaking Pilke Daycare Centres unit in Turku. We offer 33 daycare places at a warm-spirited daycare centre whose premises are spacious and bright and yard is sunny and sheltered. We have good transport connections to the natural environment of Hirvensalo and to central Turku, for example.
Our objective is to have fun with the children, provide them with a safe, stress-free play environment and to reserve plenty of time and room for play. In addition, we strive to fill the children’s lives with the joy of music through songs and rhythms and familiarise them with nature and their close surroundings. Äppelbo also implements the Finnish Outdoor Association’s Metsämörri (Forest Troll) activities.
