Pilke Käpälämäki is a small, homelike daycare centre for 28 children close to the Hiekkaharju railway station in Vantaa. At Käpälämäki, each child is accepted as a unique individual. The children are allowed to grow and develop at their own pace while the educators listen to them and provide them with plenty of time, affection and encouragement. Our humorous atmosphere ensures that every day is a good day for the children.
Our objective is to ensure that the children are provided with a healthy everyday life filled with the joy of play, learning and intimacy. We apply a solution-based, child-centred approach in which each child is considered an active individual and learner. Our inspiration and courage to explore new methods guide us to provide the best early learning.
