The client fee is €0–311 per month, i.e. the same amount as in municipal early childhood education, starting 1 January 2026.
The fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.

Residents of Nurmijärvi can also use a service voucher for our daycare from their own municipality. Our daycare is conveniently located within easy reach of Nurmijärvi (for example, Klaukkala) and right next to Kivistö train station.
You can apply at any time, and starting can happen quickly!
No attachments are needed for the application, and submitting it doesn’t commit you to anything. You can also join a waiting list with your daycare application.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.
Pilke Sports Daycare Hohto – located in Kivistö, Vantaa
Pilke Sports Daycare Hohto opened in August 2018 on Spinellinkuja, Kivistö, near the train station. Hohto provides high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and pre-primary education for children aged 0–6.
The atmosphere at Hohto is safe, warm, and welcoming. We value unhurried, individualized attention, listening, hugs, closeness, and positive interactions. Our educators have a strong sense of community, which reflects on the children and creates a gentle, nurturing environment.
Introducing various sports and physical activities
Pilke Hohto is a sports-focused daycare, aiming to support children’s physical activity in everyday life, strengthen their interest in exercise and an active lifestyle, and teach a healthy and safe relationship with their bodies and surroundings.
The sports focus is integrated into everyday life through group gatherings, exercise sessions, and age-appropriate exposure to various sports. It is important for us to create a daily environment where children feel safe, can express all emotions, and develop positively. We continuously collaborate with parents to enhance their involvement and engagement in the children’s learning and development.

At the Vantaa Pilke units, we also offer families the following:
- We often go on snack excursions.
- We take annual daycare photos of the children and groups. Some of the photos are free of charge for families.
- Throughout the year, we organize many events for both the daycare and the whole family. Sometimes, we also invite grandparents and other close relatives.
- Celebrations are important to us: we usually hold spring and Christmas parties as performances, and we celebrate each child's birthday, as well as Father’s Day and Mother’s Day.
- Many of our daycare centers have an active parent committee that anyone interested is welcome to join.

However, we recommend submitting your application as soon as possible. This helps us to ensure your child gets a place at your chosen daycare center and is able to start at a time that suits your family.

At the daycare, breakfast, lunch, and a snack are offered. At Pilke daycares, we provide children with domestic, healthy, and tasty food that is diverse and easy to eat, designed specifically with children’s tastes and textures in mind.
Each of our daycares has a daycare assistant responsible for warming the food and serving other items according to the menu.
During holiday periods, there are fewer children in daycare, as many families are on vacation and children stay at home. For this reason, some of our daycare centers are closed while others remain open.
The open daycare centers operate as on-duty centers, providing care for all children from Pilke daycare centers in the area who need early childhood education.
These on-duty centers are staffed by Pilke’s own early childhood educators from various daycare centers in the same region.
We inform families well in advance about holiday opening hours and which Pilke daycare centers in the area will be open.
