The daycare customer fee is affected by the private daycare allowance granted by Kela. The customer fee may be further reduced by an income-related care supplement — please check Kela’s updated income limits here. After the allowances you receive, our customer fee for full-time early childhood education will range from €64,15 to €390 per month.

Sibling discount: €150. At our daycare, we offer 4 hours of free early childhood education for 5-year-olds. In addition, the City of Helsinki supports families with 5-year-olds with €60 per month. For more information, please contact the daycare manager.

Pilke Playschool Lehtisaari (formerly Taikasaari) is a warm, multicultural daycare located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Lehtisaari, close to the sea, forest, playgrounds, and cultural destinations.
We provide English-language early childhood education, while also supporting Finnish-language learning through language clubs. At Pilke, we believe that language learning is much more than vocabulary and grammar. An English-language learning environment is built around play and interaction. We aim to introduce children to different cultures and help them grow into curious, open-hearted global citizens.
Diverse Learning Environments
In addition to spacious play areas, our daycare features a large gym, a music room, and a discovery lab where little “scientists” can explore using pipettes, magnifying glasses, test tubes, and other exciting tools.
We love spending time outdoors and make the most of our surroundings. Children enjoy fun moments playing outside, going on excursions, and visiting parks, libraries, and various events.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
