The customer fee for daycare is affected by the private daycare allowance granted by Kela. The fee may be further reduced by an income-related care supplement — please check Kela’s updated income limits here. After the allowances you receive, our customer fee will be between €10–335 per month.

Sibling discount: €150. At our daycare, we offer 4 hours of free early childhood education for 5-year-olds. In addition, the City of Helsinki supports families with 5-year-olds with €160 per month. For more information, please contact the daycare manager.

Daisy is our communication and information channel between home and daycare. We use Daisy to communicate, for example, about events and news from the daycare.
Families use Daisy to send us information such as childcare bookings and absence notifications.

Pilke Playschool Paahtimo opened in Vallila on Sturenkatu in January 2021.
Paahtimo Preschool offers high-quality, child-centered early childhood education in a warm and welcoming environment, with places for 33 children. At our preschool, every child is a superstar in their own life, just as they are.
Singing, Playing, and Rhymes in Finnish and English
As a music-focused preschool, our goal is to provide children with musical experiences, skills, and abilities, as well as opportunities for learning and moments of success. We also aim to inspire a lifelong interest in music.
Our emphasis on music is reflected in our daily activities, where we sing, play instruments, dance, and improvise in a joyful and supportive atmosphere.
The preschool also regularly hosts music sessions led by a professional music teacher.

Paahtimo offers extensive bilingual early childhood education in both Finnish and English in a cozy daycare environment. Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
