The fee is determined based on the value of the service voucher, which depends on the family size, income, and the child’s early childhood education hours.

Pilke Sports Daycare Ilveslinna opened its doors in August 2018 on Ilveslinnantie in Turenki, in a beautiful and eco-friendly log building.

Daycare Ilveslinna offers high-quality, child-centered early childhood education and pre-primary education in a warm and welcoming environment.

In our daycare, quality early education means learning through play and gentle interaction. In our daily work, we aim to offer children not only a wide range of activities but also unhurried moments to explore the world together through play and kind conversation. We create a safe growth environment where an adult’s arms are always open.

Pilke Ilveslinna is a sports-oriented daycare whose goal is to help children discover the joy of movement and an active lifestyle. The emphasis on physical activity is present in everyday life through excursions, daily outdoor play, weekly music and movement sessions, and guided exercise activities. We also explore a variety of sports such as swimming, junior wrestling, and cycling.

Versatile Activities in Line with the Early Childhood Education Curriculum

The daycare offers a wide range of activities in accordance with the early childhood education curriculum. Activities include, for example, forest excursions, theatre performances, as well as arts and crafts and painting sessions — all balanced with plenty of time for rest.


At Ilveslinna, an early childhood education teacher works in a new kind of ope+ role. This teacher strengthens the pedagogical practices across the entire daycare, supporting every child group and being responsible for the overall pedagogical development of the daycare.
