Pilke Playschool Jyväskylä is an English kindergarten in Jyväskylä
Pilke Playschool Jyväskylä is located in Jyväskylä. We want to ensure a safe learning environment for all children. Our focus is in pedagogy and in developing the children’s social skills and personal achievements. The daily activities in the school vary depending on the age and individual skills of each child. We encourage all children to enjoy Music, Art, Drama, Craft, Sport and Basic Computer Skills. In the Junior groups the emphasis is on children learning through play.
English is used daily
The kindergarten’s early childhood education is carried out in English, so the child can both learn and maintain English language skills. At Playschool Jyväskylä, children explore, wonder, rejoice and gain insight in a linguistically and culturally diverse environment. At the same time, the foundation for lifelong language study is created.
We organize activities for children aged 0-6 flexibly in small groups, taking each child’s linguistic needs into account. We also offer children the opportunity for Finnish as a second language (S2) education.
Also in Finnish
The kindergarten also has a language-enriched group where the main language is Finnish and the English language is seen as a language-enriched activity, where it is easy for the child to get to know the new language gradually.
In language-enriched early childhood education, children can, among other things, practice familiar songs, rhymes and concepts while singing and thinking together in English.
Pilke Playschool Jyväskylä got 9,6/10 from customer satisfactory inquiry made by Jyväskylä city.
