A Small and Homely Sports Daycare in Nurmijärvi
Pilke Sports Daycare Hippa is located in a quiet residential area in Nurmijärvi. The daycare provides plenty of space for movement and play, and the surroundings offer excellent opportunities for outdoor activities. Our approach is based on children’s natural curiosity and desire to learn, move, explore, and play. Our goal is to create a warm, safe, and unhurried atmosphere where each child can grow and develop both as an individual and as a member of a social group, according to their own abilities and skills.
Versatile Activities in Line with the Early Childhood Education Curriculum
The sports-oriented focus of our daycare is integrated into everyday activities. Physical activity is combined with all forms of learning. Our program also includes a wide variety of activities such as singing sessions, theatre performances, arts and crafts, and painting — all balanced with time for rest. Our goal is to make each day meaningful for the child, including a healthy mix of guided activities, free play, movement, and relaxation.

Active Cooperation with Parents in a Community-Oriented Atmosphere
We maintain active cooperation with parents to create educational continuity between home and daycare, supporting each child’s growth, development, and learning. Our daycare is staffed by trained and professional personnel. We work in small groups, which allows for individualized and flexible early childhood education. Our teams consist of three members: two early childhood education teachers and one childcare worker.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.
