Pilke sports-oriented daycare centre Huiske

Pilke’s sports-oriented daycare centre Huiske started its operation in the Halkivaha residential area of Tuusula in August 2014. Our operation is based on the children’s desire to exercise, explore, play and learn. Our objective is to create a warm, safe and unhurried atmosphere where the children can grow and develop as individuals and members of a social group in accordance with their skills and capacities.

Huiske provides children with goal-oriented instructed exercise on a regular basis. We support the children’s daily independent exercise by building a learning environment that encourages and inspires them to do sports. Our sports activities are full of action, positive experiences, successes, adventure, sweat and hearty laughter. Huiske also provides pre-primary education.

Childhood is a unique phase of life, the experiences of which we learn to cherish as adults. The child-centredness of our operation involves genuine interest and sensitivity to analyse each child’s individual needs. We strive to create an unhurried atmosphere where the children have plenty of time to learn, play, exercise and explore. The daycare centre’s operation is based on small group activities and learning basic everyday skills with our early childhood educators.
