Pilke Taikapuisto is a cosy, warm-spirited nature-oriented daycare centre in Haapavesi
Taikapuisto has operated in Haapavesi since 2009, and it is located on Urheilutie Street right next to the Mäkinrinne School. Taikapuisto provides versatile high-quality early childhood education and care as well as pre-primary education for children aged 1–6 years at a welcoming, cosy daycare centre.
We have 54 daycare places, and we also offer so-called “stimulus care” or temporary care for children who have at least one parent at home. A child can attend stimulus care if they are, for example, primarily provided care at home, but they occasionally require additional activities and stimuli. A child’s stimulus care does not affect home care allowance.

Daycare centre doors open. Welcome! We start the day with a hug and have a chat. Then we gradually start to play.

Breakfast

Small group activities indoors and outdoors.

Lunch, followed by a rest. Some of the children sleep or rest while the others go outside. After the rest, it’s time for quiet play and activities.
